—Meet Sarah. Sarah is my little sister. She was friggin BLESSED with naturally springy, curly hair. And I mean perfect ringlets from the root. She flat irons it daily, and it’s basically being severely damaged.
I want Sarah to know that she is beautiful; that she doesn’t need to have pin-straight hair to be accepted or considered attractive. Most girls would KILL for what she was given.
I’m not doing this in an attempt to get her to stop straightening/styling her hair. Obviously, it’s her hair. And she looks gorgeous with it straight or naturally curled. I want her to see though that she is beautiful without having to do anything to change herself. People love her the way she is.
